much easier.
They can answer the phone, handle enquiries
at the office door, log in and out tools, radios and other
equipment, phone around for supplies and items you need,
formulate pass lists and much more.
You may
also wish to give some of your senior staff their own
assistants to improve their productivity and make their
lives a bit easier!

We have a
large number of volunteers who have handy skills and
experience for site construction. They may work in the
trades or building industry.
We also network with
trades colleges and TAFE colleges for advanced students
and teachers in the
building trades. We also look for leadership skills and
events experience.

We have a number of Support Services including
Lovesavers and The Pink Room. We
believe the safety, well-being and support services to
your patrons is paramount. These services should
be welcoming and open-minded so patrons seek help when
they need it. Names should not be required (and
aren't by law!)
We also believe in prevention and on-site rehabilitation
whenever possible, reducing police and medical
statistics, and improving public perception of the
event.
We specialise in handling aggressive and difficult drug
and alcohol intoxication and our experienced nurses and
drug and alcohol workers can provide extensive
one-on-one comfort and care to all concerned.

We
specialise in well-stocked General Stores and essential
item sales (earplugs, sunscreen, bandaids, etc).
We can also run
your Merchandising Stand.
We can create and sell showbags with your
sponsors items or use our own to create "Survival",
Recovery" and Clean Dream packs. We can also provide roving
vendors.
Our retail coordinator has years of experience in
events and retail. We provide all the stock, take back what
doesn't sell, and share the profits.
All our retail volunteers must provide 3 work
references which are thoroughly checked out before they
can handle stock or money.
Retail Overview |
Feed your workers, staff, volunteers and artists

urgent matters.

Lovesavers are our friendly, low-key First Aid, Drug and Alcohol patrols,
using volunteer nurses, doctors and drug and alcohol
workers. They contribute greatly to the safety and
well-being of your patrons. Teams are given areas

hotspots of an event.
Our Lovesaver Coordinator is a highly qualified social
worker/administrator with 20 years of drug, alcohol and
mental health experience. She ensures this services is

have a very experienced coordinator and display and point of sale
materials for your General Store. She will set it
up, supervise it during the festival, pack up, and
provide a detailed stocktake and accounting.
We have a huge range of stock from our
wholesalers, and take back what doesn't sell, so you're
not left with stock you can't return. This frees
up your capital for other important projects.
All retail volunteers provide 3 work references which
are thoroughly checked out before they can handle stock
or money.

The Pink Room is our latest

making support services user-friendly and appealing and
meeting the needs of today's partying youth.
The Pink Room

We
believe the Information Stand is the hub of a
festival. It's the first point of call for most
people with problems, it can sell programs and
merchandising, and be a valuable source of information
for first aid, security and organisers. You need
event-savvy, experienced crew on an Information Stand.
Loveworks can provide an experienced coordinator and
volunteer crew for this important facility. Our
coordinator will work with you to make sure we have all the information,
documents and tools we need. We
can also include a Message Board for patrons, and look after
Lost Property.

Crew Care is a valuable add-on to improve morale and
productivity. We create a small first aid station
which can include all or some of the following: a

massages, vitamins and tonics, natural remedies for everything
from fatigue to voice-loss, first aid, and more. Fees
for our Crew Care start at $100 a day.
Crew Care |
Good program sales are important
for many reasons. Patrons need to know what's on
where and when, where important facilities are, and who
your sponsors are. The last thing you want is to be
stuck which 100's programs which didn't sell.
Why not let one of our
coordinators create a Program Stand, or use our Roving
Vendors for program sales? Or sell programs at
entrances to areas, your information stand, and so on.
If our volunteers are handling valuable stock or money,
we check 3 work references. And of course all our volunteers sign a
contract with their full name and address.
Program Sales |

key people valuable time and energy and contribute

Crowd
Safe volunteers can perform a number of important
functions.
They can monitor no-go areas, they can keep an eye on
trouble-spots and act as extra eyes for security, they
can assist in crowded areas like the mosh with
water, they can act as walking information stands and more.
And they're competent teams to have on call.
You can often reduce the number
of security officers required for your event by your
local police department by increasing
your Crowd Safe crew. We use responsible
volunteers for this important service and train them
well.

resource which is all-to-often disorganised and under-utilised.

complete volunteer package, or just a few volunteers. A large number of your event's services can
be run with volunteers and experienced coordinators (ours or yours) -
see the chart below.
We check three
references for any volunteers handling money or stock, so you can safely
use volunteers to generate income for your event:
We can also coordinate transport, entry, meals, and accommodation for
your volunteers.
And this is what we'll do!
-

application just for your event on our website, or
create an application for you to publish on your
website.
-
We can arrange insurance cover for your volunteers under
our name or yours.
-
We'll contact
the applicants, check out references for anyone who's

We'll ask
them to sign a contract confirming their position and
times and acknowledging that they'll be invoiced for the
price of a pass plus a cancellation fee it they don't
meet their obligations.
-
We send them
regular newsletters to build and maintain enthusiasm.
-
We'll also
send them an Info Pack specific to your event with map, entry, transport,
roster, and accommodation information.
-
We'll
organise and run a smoothly operating volunteer entry.
-
We'll create

volunteer.

Natural
PHARMACY: This service is also very popular, particularly at
overnight and camping festivals, where many patrons prefer to use
natural medicine. Staffed by naturopaths and often a nurse, our
Natural Pharmacy includes a fully stocked herbal, homeopathic and
flower essence dispensary as well as a range of over the
counter medicines, natural cosmetics and aromatherapy, and first aid supplies. We can make up individual remedies for everything
from rashes and earaches to hangovers and stomach disorders. We have
herbal teas in big jars and can make therapeutic blends in teapots.
And to add to the old-fashioned look and feel, we have natural sweets,
jelly beans and liquorice in big jars as well. General advice is free, but
patrons can also book a short or long naturopathic consultation.
The Natural Pharmacy can share
space with our General Store or
Massage service. We see The
Natural Pharmacy as primarily a public service and endeavour to keep prices low
and free advice and assistance high.
