Loveworks First Aid

Not all first aid is the same. It's vitally important that first aid services meet the particular needs of partying people at their events.  Loveworks makes every effort to keep abreast of current issues affecting safety, substance abuse, crowd syndrome and other event safety and first aid issues.  Our first aid service is constantly updating it's approach, assessment, treatment and procedures accordingly.

It's also important that young people feel comfortable in seeking first aid assistance, or they may be taking grave risks with their health or even their life.  Loveworks First Aid's friendly uniforms, their gentle approach and their confidentiality make our first aid service particularly user-friendly and non-threatening.  We have initiated many adjuncts to our service to enhance the safety, care, comfort and support of patrons.

LoveSavers, our search and rescue teams, wander the event, particularly the "hot spots" (crowded dance floors, dark areas, toilets and so on), looking for patrons in distress.  They are carefully briefed on matters of protocol, and will generally refer any worrying issues to their head of first aid rather than calling in security.  They carry small first aid kits for little problems that can be easily treated on site, which can take a tremendous load off overworked first aid stations, allowing them to focus on the more serious problems at hand.  Patrons are happy because they don't have to wait in long lines for minor issues requiring simple treatment, such as a bandaid or headache tablet.

UniMed First Aid  can supply the first aid component of Loveworks. They are a dynamic volunteer First Aid unit based in Sydney.  Their service is excellent. They are professional, highly qualified and well-equipped.  Their image and approach to the public are relaxed, friendly, open-minded and non-judgmental.

Unimed personnel support and enjoy working with natural therapies.  Loveworks and UniMed have enjoyed a strong professional relationship for the last four years.  We also work closely with St Johns Ambulance at some events.
