Natural Pharmacy

Not everyone wants to take pharmaceutical drugs. They many be concerned with side effects, damage to their body, animal testing or allergic reactions. Their complaint may not respond to conventional first aid medicines.

Our Natural Pharmacy is run by qualified Natural Therapists including naturopaths, herbalists, homeopaths, and flower essence therapists.  We usually also have a nurse on hand.  Sometimes we combine our natural pharmacy with our General Store or Essentials retail outlet, or with our Massage and Psychic Readers. 

Remedies using from herbs, homeopathy, flower essences and supplements can be made on the spot in liquids, teas, drops and creams. Patrons complete a brief history and disclaimer form, proper records are kept and containers are carefully labeled.  We also have a large range of  herbal teas in big glass jars which can be blended for to make therapeutic or simply enjoyable herbal tea blends.

Natural medicine can quickly relieve many types of headaches and migraines, hay fever, sinus, colds, sore throats, breathing difficulties, stress, anxiety and panic attacks, fatigue, nausea, stomach ache, cramps, backache, bowel problems, period pain, insect bites, sunburn, heat stroke and much more.. Conventional first aid doesn't always have answers for these problems.  And more and more today's festival-goers appreciate and use natural medicine.

Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Iridologists and Other Therapies

Naturopaths, Homeopaths and Herbalists that work in our Natural Pharmacy are usually paid 50% of fees collected for their consultations, and 10% of remedy sales.  Natural medicine is especially popular at festivals with camping. We also ask them to assist with general retail sales, so their position is somewhere between a volunteer and a paid worker.

Iridologists can work and volunteer on a similar basis, but at some events we create an Iridology Stand, where patrons usually pay $20 for a 15 minute Iridology Consultation.  If so, Iridologists can earn 50% of fees collected for their services.   We can also create other stands, offering Polarity, Kinesiology and many other exciting therapies.  These stands can also be combined with our Massage.
