The Chill Out Lounge

Loveworks has lots of experience at creating comfortable, colourful, relaxing chill spaces for events. We can combine the chill out lounge with any of the following services:

• A massage and/or psychic reading services
• A beauty spa with manicures, pedicures and  mini facials
• A cafe, coffee, chai or food stand
• A movie cinema
• A DJ, live music, comedy, unplugged or workshop space.  The music can be folk, blues, new age or chilled techno, or a bit of everything. 
• A book and/or games library
• A children's area, with or without child-minding.
• A Mum's and Baby's area
• Something new and creative!

We can furnish our spaces with colour-coordinated couches, covered mattresses and/or lots of cushions. We have a number of sponsors who give us free magazines to distribute.  We can make the space  look "hippy" or "retro" or modern and unique for your event.  We can provide 24 hour volunteer supervision.

We provide an experienced coordinator and all the volunteers needed to create, supervise, run and pull down this space.  We usually include a few support crew (nurses, drug and alcohol or social workers) who can unobtrusively monitor and assist as needed.   People in distress will often gravitate to a chill out lounge first. From there we can monitor and comfort them and assist them to first aid or other services if they need it.

Our deep and heartfelt thanks to Marrickville Council, St Vincent De Pauls, The Salvation Army and The Smith Family for their continued support.  Every year they lend us couches and mattresses, help with decorations and/or provide storage for the Love Lounge.  We couldn't do it without them!
